As part of our ATX Festival 2022 coverage, Randy spoke with writer Mike Gauyo.
Mike is one of Hollywood’s top emerging creatives known for his writing roles on HBO’s hit series Insecure and Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia. Currently, Mike serves as Co-Creator, Co-Showrunner, and Executive Producer in his upcoming series Send Help, premiering this August on ALLBLK, AMC Network’s streaming service. Through his production company, Black Boy Writes Media, he’s dedicated to uplifting minority voices in the industry. From Haiti to Hollywood, production assistant to co-creator, Mike takes pride in being a Black, queer, Haitian writer. Mike is a powerhouse whose enjoyed features on Deadline, Variety, and NBC Boston among others.
