Before we get started this week, we want to let y'all know that
while yes, we're an escapist podcast about teevee, we're
all very aware of what's going on in the world. We encourage you if
you have the means to donate to Black Lives Matter, the ACLU Civil
Liberties Fund, or another fund that will help move us all
forward.
Warner Brothers dropped a whole new streaming
service on us, HBO Max, and we're gonna talk about that, their new
'Looney Tunes' episodes, as well as their main original so far,
'Love Life' with Anna Kendrick. We've also finally fallen for
another streaming service with Apple+, and we'll talk a little
about that, and how Loren Bouchard's 'Central Park' was the last
straw that drew Randy in. Then we've got thoughts on 'Last Dance',
the ESPN documentary on Michael Jordan that's also on Netflix. And
because it seems kind of relevant to the time, we're gonna catch up
on 'Last Week Tonight with John Oliver'.
