This week, Les talks with Jean Louisa Kelly, the stage and screen star who began her career with the original Broadway cast of Into the Woods and is now featured in Top Gun: Maverick. We talk about her return to NYC’s Laurie Beechman Theatre with her solo concert “Anything Can Happen” for a show on March 31.
Kelly is best known for featured roles in the movies Uncle Buck, Mr. Holland’s Opus, and The Fantasticks; and the long running sitcom CBS-TV “Yes, Dear.”
Kelly’s solo concert “Anything Can Happen,” featuring Grammy Award-winning musical director Paul Bogaev, is an uplifting journey through her serendipitous life in and out of show business, from small-town New England to Hollywood and Broadway. It features songs from Gypsy, The Fantasticks, Next to Normal, Company, and more. We'll have a ticket link in the description.
